SERENEDI Software — Data Handling

SERENEDI is available as both an on-premises Windows Server product and a Snowflake Native App. In both configurations:

Your data stays in your environment. SERENEDI processes healthcare EDI transactions entirely within your own infrastructure — either your Windows Server or your Snowflake account. We do not receive, access, transmit, or store your EDI transaction data, Protected Health Information (PHI), or any data processed by SERENEDI.
No telemetry or usage tracking. SERENEDI does not collect analytics, usage metrics, or telemetry data from your environment.
No data exfiltration. SERENEDI does not transmit any data from your environment to Chiapas EDI or any third party.

Information We Collect

We may collect limited personal information when you interact with us directly through our website or business communications:

Contact Information. Name, email address, organization name, and phone number provided when you submit a form on our website, request a demo, or contact us for support.
Business Communications. Information exchanged during sales inquiries, support requests, or account management.
Website Server Logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services on our website.

How We Use Your Information

Chiapas EDI Technologies provides software tools for processing HIPAA-regulated healthcare EDI transactions. Because SERENEDI operates entirely within your environment and we do not access, receive, or store your PHI, Chiapas EDI does not act as a Business Associate under HIPAA with respect to data processed by SERENEDI. Your organization retains full control and responsibility for PHI processed within your own systems.
