Chiapas EDI Enterprise Licensing Tiers and Pricing

We offer 4 different license tiers for Chiapas EDI Enterprise as shown below.  If you have some special needs and feel like a custom license tier is necessary, please contact us to discuss further.  We make sure to have a license tier that best suits your needs.

 
 

Tier 1 

Annual licensing fee is $3,750.00, which includes:

  • One windows‐based server 
  • Two worker processes to handle two files simultaneously
  • One installation of a failover license on a backup server
  • Two local workstations
  • Two client-support contacts (users)
  • Four hours of Professional Services including phone support 

Tier 3

Annual licensing fee is $7,300.00, which includes:

  • Three windows‐based servers 
  • Unlimited worker processes to handle unlimited files simultaneously
  • One installation of a failover license on each backup server
  • Six local workstations
  • Six client-support contacts (users)
  • Eight hours of Professional Services including phone support 
  • API & Shell integration - Link Chiapas EDI transformations directly into your existing business applications

Tier 2

Annual licensing fee is $5,500.00, which includes:

  • Two windows‐based servers
  • Six worker processes to handle six files simultaneously
  • One installation of a failover license on each backup server
  • Four local workstations
  • Four client-support contacts (users)
  • Six hours of Professional Services including phone support 

Tier 4

Annual licensing fee is $9,250.00, which includes:

  • Four windows‐based servers
  • Unlimited worker processes to handle unlimited files simultaneously
  • One installation of a failover license on each backup server
  • Eight local workstations
  • Eight client-support contacts (users)
  • Twelve hours of Professional Services including phone support
  • API & Shell integration - Link Chiapas EDI transformations directly into your existing business applications
 
 

If your business involves a high volume of business files/transactions, we would recommend you start with Tier 3 and up. The annual licensing fee of each tier is locked as is for the first 3 years and subject to 3% increase every 3 years thereafter.

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT

  1. Chiapas EDI Technologies, Inc., agrees to support its product for a number of client-support contacts (users) in accordance with a chosen licensing tier, provided that the users possess technical proficiency with SQL databases and familiarity with the fundamentals of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and HIPAA Implementation Guides.
    • This support includes bug fixes, maintenance releases, new version releases, and general assistance using the documented features of the software package, which includes Chiapas Studio and the Workflow Foundation based automation and scheduling systems.
    • Client-support contacts will receive a response to all support requests via email within 1 business day (excluding weekends and Federal holidays). Email support is unlimited during the contract period.
    • The scope of this support is strictly limited to installation, setup, and the use of the documented features within the product.
  2. Professional services and phone support are included within the number of hours of professional services support rendered in a chosen licensing tier. They encompass scheduled or unscheduled phone support, interactive web-meetings, live troubleshooting, general client assistance, and custom solution development. Phone calls, web-meeting requests, etc. will accrue against this balance at a minimum of 15-minute increment each interaction. Any maintenance patches that arise out of customer interactions will not accrue against this balance nor will they be considered a client deliverable. Customers are entitled to current balance and usage of accrued hours upon request. Unused hours will be expired upon the expiration of the annual licensing contract.
  3. Use of this product to achieve fully compliant 4010/5010 transactions requires specialized business knowledge and testing capabilities and is specifically outside of the scope of this Agreement.
  4. Additional professional services support / phone support beyond the number of hours rendered in a chosen licensing tier are available at a rate of $175/hour.
  5. Additional licenses beyond the number of client-support contacts (users) listed in a chosen licensing option are available at a cost of $750 per person per licensed year.
  6. Additional Production Server Licenses are available at a cost of $2000 each.
ON-PREMISES DEPLOYMENT

 

Chiapas EDI Enterprise, version 2014, requires the following minimum hardware requirements:

 

  • 64-Bit Windows Operating System: Windows 7, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012
  • .NET 4.0. Although installed by default on Windows 7 and 8, it is normally an optional Feature on Server operating systems.
  • SQL Server 2012 R2 or Above (Express or Standard versions)
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 5GB Free disk space
  • Local Administrator rights when installing


LICENSE AGREEMENT

 

Chiapas EDI Enterprise is licensed on a yearly subscription basis. During your annual licensing period, you will receive an unlimited email support service including bug fixes, maintenance releases, and general assistance using the documented features of the software package, which includes Chiapas Studio and the Workflow Foundation based automation and scheduling systems. Contracted clients will automatically get a new release version of Chiapas EDI Enterprise when there is one available.
